I have spraypainted the baseplate a matt black.  I then refitted the bulbholders with the original parts.

Spark Plug Wire Clamp Fitted

I have also fitted the spark plug wire clamp.

Note the cooling fins on the spark plugs.

An Original 1941 Harley- Davidson Speedometer!

Doepie has sold one of his 1941 H-D speedo's to me.  It came off a 1941 WL.

Parts Have Arrived

It took a while, but the parts that I have ordered from the Netherlands have arrived:
- A new fuel shut-off valve;
- A new rear wheel bearing sleeve;
- Some cable clamps;
- Exhaust clamps;
- Jiffy stand U-bolt;
- Cateyes;
- Etc.

Refurbishing the Exhaust Headers Pipes

Hi.

This is what the exhaust pipe assembly look like in the parts manual.

I have started with the refurbishment of the header pipes:
- Firstly, I cleaned the headers with thinners to get rid of all the oil on the headers;
- I then sanded the headers to get rid of any rust;
- Next, I wrapped the headers with H-D Screamin Eagle Exhaust Wrap (Black);
- I then secured the wrap with stainless steel ties.
