This is what Palmer has to say about the grips used by Harley Davidson during the early years. The grips that I have used in the restoration is therefore period correct, albeit reproduction grips.
Following on this,this is what Palmer has to say about the handlebar plungers. From the photos on the previous post it is clear that the handlebar plungers on the WL (these were in the motorcycle) is as also period correct.
