The battery has been fitted. At this point in time there is no battery acid in the battery.
I have also connected the two battery terminal wires. Here are photos of the positive wire running to the seat post terminal.
And I have also completed connecting the negative terminal.
Note the in-line fuse that I jave installed on the positive battery connector. These vintage motorcycles did not have any fuses in them. And it is a fairly big risk - if there is a short somewhere one can cause a fire that can be devastating. Doepie told me a story of a guy that this happened to and his bike burned to the ground - totally destroyed!
