I have dropped the solo seat off to have the seat covered in a tan leather. I'll post pictures of the seat when I get it back. Which should be in two weeks time.
The guy that will cover the seat is an old artisan - he must be in his 70's - and he only have hand tools in his shop. Everything that he does is hand tooled and stitched.
I have also given him two vintage army (British) canvas bags that was used by the UDF during WW2 to fabricate a leather attachment for the carrier.
And he will also replace the leather strap and band of the WW2 steel UDF helmet for me.
